Area to Watch - Marpole
One of the topics at my Meetup Real Estate Group as well as at my public seminars is up and coming areas to buy Real Estate. Recently, there was an article in 24Hours which agreed with my areas of Crosstown (where Gastown, Downtown and Chinatown meet) as well as Cambie and 12th. The article added one that I had not considered, Marpole. Since then I have been holding open houses on the weekend at a great junior one bedroom at The Retro on Hudson St. This building is two years old and units are selling for under $500 a sq.ft. There are many other new buildings in the area. The area has a lot of local neighbourhood stores on Granville and still only twenty minutes from downtown. An area worth watching and considering.
