I’ve written a little something for you to use on your site, if you’d like. Feel free to use any part, or edit it in any way you feel is best. I really had to stop myself from turning it into a novel! I have a tendency to go on and on…………(it’s easy to sing your praises!!!!) If it’s not quite what you’re looking for let me know and I’ll start on chapter 2.
We’ve accumulated a bit of experience buying and selling real estate over the years, but this was our first time buying property in Canada. MJ is without doubt one of the best agents we’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Quite simply, we adore her. Her expertise and lack of pretension made our experience buying real estate in Vancouver incredibly pleasant. She is a wealth of information, and her wide base of knowledge and honesty make her an invaluable ally. The most unfortunate part of the experience was that it was over too quickly. From holidays over the years we were somewhat familiar with Vancouver, had some knowledge of the real estate market there, and had a good idea of what we were looking for. Because MJ listened to what we wanted and combined it with her expertise, we actually only spent one weekend looking at property with her. She didn’t waste our time, and everything she showed us factored into the running. When we went to make an offer, we were beaten out by another offer. We thought it was a done deal and were prepared to continue looking, however one week later MJ called us to say the offer had fallen through and asked if we wanted to proceed. We were thrilled, MJ jumped on it, and we had the place we wanted at a very fair price. The fact that MJ stayed on top of the situation and got our foot in the door at the slightest sign of a crack was indeed impressive. Her determination and follow through on behalf of her clients, as well as her skills in negotiation, are unparallelled. We respect MJ’s dead-on opinion in all matters now, certainly when it comes to real estate, but also where to buy the best produce, the best places to take our dog, furnishings for the home, etc. etc. At this point, we think of MJ as our friend as well as our agent, and she epitomizes all that drove us to make Vancouver our home in the first place. Thank-you MJ!!!! You truly elevate your profession.
