I am taking this quiet moment to wish everybody a wonderful holiday time. I have had a wonderful last few days. Christmas Eve I went over to a friend's place at The Mondarian and we had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and then after a bottle of champagne and chocolate fondue began to try, and the word try is key here, to recite lines from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"
Christmas morning was spent unwrapping presents and then a great walk along the Seawall to Stanley Park. While we were walking along, admiring the beautiful Vancouver we are so lucky to live in, several phone calls from out of town friends came through. I ran on to the beach and held the phone up to the waves for one friend to hear.
My sweetie and I had an incredible Christmas Buffet at Granville Island Hotel overlooking False Creek. The food was delicious and we had fun figuring out how many of the buildings we had seen great condos in.
Today it is off to check out the sales on Robson Street.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone.
